Micolene K. Boddie, PT, MSPT, AT, CSCS
Head Physical Therapist, Inventor, and owner of ProActFit Physical Therapy
Micolene Boddie, PT, MSPT, ATC, CSCS is an active outpatient physical therapist with over 20 years of experience in the health and wellness space and the owner of ProActFit, Physical Therapy. She received her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Springfield College in 2000. After working as an AT, she earned her Master of Science in Physical Therapy from The University of Rhode Island in 2006.
Her sense of adventure led her to work as a traveling physical therapist from 2008 – 2014, traveling the country on 13-week outpatient and inpatient physical therapy assignments, taking note on how she would run her own cash-based clinic. She is passionate about sharing motivation, direction and her medical knowledge with others to ‘Be proactive in their own quest for chronic wellness.’ ProActFit Physical Therapy focuses on patient autonomy for their goals with chronic self-care.
Shortly after the birth of her children, (and with all her traveling experiences), she recognized an opportunity to create something bigger than herself which would help more people on a global scale than 121 physical therapy sessions. Her drive and creativity led her to an opportunity to grow her ergonomic positioning systems from concepts to prototypes. At ProActFit, we look forward to the research, development, and progress of these Class 1 medical devices to assist others in their own quest.
